What affiliate links are

An affiliate link is a special tracking link to a partner’s website, such as a retailer, parts supplier or tool seller. It lets the partner know that you found them through Cab & Cargo. If you then make a qualifying purchase, the partner may pay KCS Global Group, which operates this website, a small commission.

This disclosure is made in line with the United States Federal Trade Commission’s guidance on endorsements and advertising, which asks publishers to clearly tell readers about any financial relationship with the brands they mention. How a commission works

1. You read a guideand see a link to a product or partner.
2. You click the linkand go to the partner’s website.
3. You choose to buyat the partner’s normal price.
4. We may earn a commissionpaid by the partner, not by you.

What it costs you

Nothing extra. The price you pay is the same whether you use our link or go to the partner’s website directly. Commissions come out of the partner’s own marketing budget. Occasionally a partner may offer our readers a discount, and when that happens we will say so clearly.

Our editorial independence

Our team researches and analyses every article before it is published. Affiliate relationships have no influence on that process:

Depending on the article, affiliate partners may include:

Our list of partners may change over time. Being an affiliate partner does not mean a company endorses Cab & Cargo, or that we endorse every product the company sells.

Sponsored content and free products

We do not publish paid content disguised as independent articles. If we ever publish sponsored content, it will be clearly labelled as sponsored at the top of the page.
